It’s Field Trip Time!

 Aloha Students and Parents,

Yes, you read that right... its field trip time! I am so excited to have the opportunity to take our students to our local Waiahole Loko I'a located down in Keaukaha. Our exploration through the loko i'a will provide us with a new understanding of the ecosystem and life cycles of various marine animals that are located within the loko i'a. 

Our field trip will take place on February 25th, 2022. We will be departing the school at 9:30 a.m. from the cafeteria to Waiahole Loko I'a located across from Carlsmith beach park. We will be there all day returning to the school in time for bus and parent pickup at 1:45 p.m. 

Here is a list I put together of items we will need for our trip but you are free to pack what you seem fit for the excursion:

• Backpack

• Closed-toe shoes

• Hat

• Sunscreen

• Water Bottle 

• Homelunch and snacks (I will also be providing small snacks for the students)

• Extra pair of clothes (We may get wet so just in case)
